The vampires and werewolves came out to play last night at a screening of The Twilight Saga: New Moon at Landmark's Sunshine Cinema in New York. All the principal cast members were in attendance - Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed and Taylor Lautner, as well as rumoured off-screen couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. After watching the second in the series of Twilight films on the eve of its general release today, the actors attended a swish after-party, hosted by D&G and the Cinema Society, and were joined by a whole host of other stylish stars, including honorary New Yorker Alexa Chung, Erin Wasson, Jessica Stam, Natalie Portman, Agyness Deyn and Taylor Momsen. Read on to see who wore what...

Rihanna - Beauty Tips!
Tue, 24 Nov 2009 13:34:00 +0000
With her new album out this week, a fierce new hair cut and Chris Brown well and truly behind her, Rihanna is suddenly unleashing her inner style queen. Unafraid to try new things, wear designer outfits straight off the craziest catwalk shows or try the make-up trends we all shy away from, Rihanna is at the top of our style charts right now. What we really love is that everything she does is wearable and adaptable for the high street.
Take this red eye shadow for example, once deemed only wearable at fancy dress Halloween parties, we have to admit Rihanna does a good job of converting the look for the red carpet. What she does, that others like Gaga fail to do, is add one eccentric element to her style and then keep everything else low key. We probably wouldn't be promoting red eye liner with red lipstick...and neither would Rihanna! So have fun with your make-up this festive season and opt for one show-stopping element, be it eyes or lips, and a Rihanna. Steal her style with these new beauty products.
Glamorous hairstyles

There is nothing more satisfying than turning up to your Christmas party feeling a million dollars, and good hair is the ultimate key. Of course the celebrities always look red carpet-ready and, yes, they have an army of stylists, but we've picked some of best party season celebrity styles which we think are easy enough to recreate at home.
The key to getting a good style to last is to prep the hair before styling. Add your mousse, serum, heat protecting spray, and always keep pins at the ready to pin back loose strands and tidy up wayward ends. We may be going through the recession but it doesn't mean you can't be creative, so play with these styles and add accessories and jewels where you can.
Happy partying!
Hair - Penelope flaunts her luscious A-list locks
Tue, 24 Nov 2009 13:37:00 +0000
We certainly have the Monday morning blues today - where did the weekend go? And when we spotted this picture of the stunning Penelope Cruz we had a serious case of hair envy too. Tumbling curls, a glossy A-list finish and a cutesy hair clip... we want!
Penelope proves that even though we may wear our hair loose every day it doesn't hurt to go the extra mile and add a few curls, waves and a hair accessory to spruce up the look. Simply spending a few extra minutes adding the odd curl to your hair each morning to give it more body and gloss on these drab winter days. Nothing does it quicker than the BaByliss Straight To Curl irons, by the way, which I am currently using every morning. Then add a hair clip to, nonchalantly, pin one side up and you will feel ready to face even the wettest winter day.
The ‘less is more' look is definitely a style we love, but Penelope reminds us that it still takes a little effort to do... and when it looks this good it's definitely worth it.
